This Or The Apocalypse working with Lamb Of God drummer on new album
Lancaster, Pennsylvania's This Or The Apocalypse has entered Spin Studios in New York with Josh Wilbur (Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold) and Chris Adler (of Lamb Of God) to begin recording the follow-up to the band's 2008 album, "Monuments". An early summer release via Lifeforce Records is expected.

The first in a series of video clips documenting the recording process can be viewed below.

Consisting of Rick Armellino (vocals), Jack Esbenshade (guitars), Rodney Phillips (guitars), Grant McFarland (drums) and Sean Hennessey (bass), This Or The Apocalypse encompasses a sound that melds the fine Pennsylvania traditions that have brought us the likes of August Burns Red, A Life Once Lost and This Day Forward while taking their musical direction to a new and uncharted height. Exhibiting a veteran-like display of confidence and focus, This Or The Apocalypse's accelerated evolution redefines how bands come into their own. This Or The Apocalypse tightrope walks between masterfully crafted time signatures, dense rock grooves and melodic atmosphere. Their music combines the precision and technical prowess of Meshuggah with the raw, emotive urgency of Shai Hulud and Misery Signals: A sound that is loud, compelling, and unique.
